Need of ehealth
and practice models are different in resource crunch countries.
Various issues like prevailing health system, health policy,
telecommunication infrastructure, equipment cost, human capital and
public perception are governing successful integration and practice
of telemedicine and e health. The workshop on eHealth and
Telemedicine in Developing Countries will focus on these issues.
A group of
researchers and practitioners in this focus area are going to be
invited to share their experiences. Any body interested to
participate in this session needs to submit one page ( A4 size)
abstract of their deliberation latest by 28th March
25th April 2008 to the
conference publication chairs
(mjay@i2r.a-star.edu.sg
or
apwaung@i2r.a-star.edu.sg ). The abstract submissions must have
names, affiliations and full contact details (including email
addresses) of all authors.
Short listed
speakers will be invited to take part in this workshop. The workshop
will be coordinated by Prof. Ronald Merrel (USA) and Prof.
S.K.Mishra (India)
