Oral
Presentations
Oral presentations of LONG papers will be allocated 20 minutes (15
minutes for the presentation itself and 5 minutes for Q&A). Whereas,
oral presentations of SHORT papers will be allocated 10 minutes each
for presentation and combined 10 mins for Q&A at the end of all the
presentations in a given session.
Please ensure that the presentations do not exceed the maximum
allowed time slots. This will help in the efficient management of
the Program throughout the event.
There will be a computer (Microsoft Windows XP based machine with
Microsoft Powerpoint 2003 and Acrobat Reader 8) available at the
venue for the presentations.
Presenters can send their presentations in advance to mjay@i2r.a-star.edu.sg
and apwaung@i2r.a-star.edu.sg not later than 30th June 2008.
If you require any special software or hardware please contact us at
the previously mentioned email address at least 1 week in advance to
assess if these facilities can be made available.
Presenters can use their own laptops if preferred.
Prior to your scheduled Session, please contact the chair of your
session to ensure that your presentation file(s) and all other
resources are in place.
Poster
Presentations
You will be provided with a poster board to mount/display your
poster. The maximum permitted dimensions for your poster display are
given below. Posters MUST be in Portrait format. Your session code
will be indicated on the board. Please note that the width of the
poster board may not be exceeded under any circumstances. You will
be provided with the material to mount your poster onto the board.
Poster Size - A1 size
594 mm (width) x 841 mm (height)
23.4 in (width) x 33.1 in (height)
Presenters are encouraged to put up their posters by 11:00 hrs on
the first day of the conference (7th July 2008). The posters can
remain mounted till second day evening 6.00pm.
Presenters are responsible for the dismantling of their posters.
Posters left behind after 18:00 hrs on the second day will be
disposed of and are not the responsibility of the organizer.
At least one of the authors should attend the conference to exhibit
the poster and be available to answer questions and discuss the
poster during the poster session.
The venue of Poster Presentation Session is located at the Foyer
(outside the Theatres)
