Conference Overview


The Tenth IEEE International Conference on e-Health Networking, Applications & Services (IEEE Healthcom 2008) will be held from 7th July to 9th July 2008 in Singapore. This year, the conference will be co-organized by the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R) and Alexandra Hospital. It is sponsored by five chapters of the IEEE Singapore Section, namely the Communications, Computer, Signal Processing, EMBS and MTT A/P Chapters; and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society. Accepted papers will be on the IEEE explorer and the Engineering Index (EI). Selected best papers will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Telemedicine and e-Health, official publication of the ATA.

Themes of the Conference:

Geriatrics and Eldercare - Moving Towards Home Based Healthcare
e-Health & Telemedicine - Closing the Gap Between Developing & Developed Countries
Epidemic & Pandemic Control and Management - With Regional Emphasis
Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy - Recent Technological Advances & Applications

A total of 6 workshops/tutorials will also be conducted during the conference.
